Hello, I’m Christophe Claerhout, the founder of Globalnest, and I’d like to share my story with you. I grew up in Belgium, a country where French and Dutch cultures come together. Being in this diverse environment sparked my endless curiosity about how Europe—and eventually the whole world—works. As a child and young adult, I was eager to explore different cultures and countries, always fascinated by how a new place could offer so much more.

This curiosity shaped my professional journey. I dedicated my career to the financial services industry, working as a consultant, project manager, and product manager for fintech companies, banks, and insurance firms. These roles allowed me to dive deep into finance and technology, learning how they can drive innovation and efficiency. In my personal life, I’m married to a wonderful Greek wife, and we have two amazing children. Living in a multicultural family reinforced the importance of opening up to other countries and cultures. Experiencing the challenges and rewards of adapting to new environments inspired me to help others navigate the complexities of moving abroad. With a strong interest in economics, innovation, and efficiency, I founded Globalnest to share my knowledge with others. My mission is to guide companies through the process of relocation, helping them grow and become more efficient—not just in taxes but in every part of their operations. After they move, I continue to support them in making the most of the opportunities their new environment offers.
